- Teach someone about dysphagia (don't know much yet about swallowing problems? Hand out this brochure.)
- Do some research on your own
- Pledge to wear a dysphagia t-shirt. We at BMC will be wearing the one belowT-shirts (pictured below)
- Make 3 posts on Instagram about dysphagia awareness (#dysphagia #dysphagiaawareness #eatnow2015)
- Eat like someone who has dysphagia for 1 day -- avoid tough solids and thin liquids
- Change the consistency of your food for 1 day -- thicken your liquids like some with dysphagia has to do (you will probably need thickener)
- A puree diet for 1 day -- consume all of your nutrients in a thick liquid or puree or blended form (ideas here)
- Or create your own!
